One headlight dimmed

Hi all, not sure if this is the right spot for this thread so if not please redirect me.
But, recently one of my 1st gen projectors (high and low beams) is always dimmed but not burnt out so maybe it isn't getting enough power.
Here are a couple pictures with my low beams and high beams on for a picture reference, if any of you have any ideas or suggestions it'd help a lot! Thanks.

I forgot to mention that I checked all of the fuses and attempted changing the bulbs (just incase).
This happened in the past a while ago and sometimes when I hit a pothole they would come back on completely and then randomly go dim again. Tomorrow I'm going to pull the headlight out and look it over more closely. Is there anything I should be looking at specifically other than corrosion and frayed wires?

hmm... sounds like crappy headlights in general.... i had 3rd gen headlights and they just suck compared to stock, or retro fit. Since youve checked the fuses and all the wires are ok, then just ditch them! not worth the headache imo. spend 40 bucks on stock headlights for the time being and sell yours on craigslist, save up for retro fits if you want and youll never have the problem again. but thats just what i would do... i had the hardest time with mine, and it sure as hell wasnt worth the headache, time, or money i spent trying to fix them good luck tho man!!

Well, I got in there and cleaned the ground and made sure all of the connections were on properly and the headlight is working fine now.
BUT, when I went to start my car it started up for 3 seconds then died. Then, started up for 1 second and died and now it only turns over without starting. Not sure what I could've done to cause this and all fuses are still good, so I'll be back out there today to check the fuel pump and spark plugs. yay me
