Opinion please?

Alright, to start, it really pisses me off to see a base model with an SS badge. This is coming from someone who owned a base model. It's just not right, ya know? Well anyway, I have an 08 sport coupe (literal equivalent to an SS N/A in every way) I want to replace the sport badge with the traditional SS badge. Does anyone see a problem with this? I literally think it just comes down to badge preference, since it's the exact car inside and out.

In reality a SS badge on any Cobalt is pathetic even the ones that come that way from the factory.

Are you kidding me? The LNF SS has posted the fastest FWD production time around the ring. How does that not deserve the badge?

I am not taking anything away from the cobalt "SS" they are great cars for the money. But I am very much a traditionalist. For me the SS badge should have died with the Impala in '96. Now it seems GM is using it to just keep up with all the other sport badging going around

Same car in and out. Different "sport" badge. I see no problem in doing it. I just ordered the badges.

I don't like the no badge look. I especially don't like when the Chevy emblem is removed. I think it ruins some of the pride we should have in driving our vehicles.

GM took the SS badge off the 2.4's for a reason. Same reason there is no longer a Malibu SS. You fill in the blanks. In the end it's your car so do what you like with it. I personally did not like that my 06 2.4 was deemed an SS, but that's just me.

exactly i hate when people debadge there cars. But in that case its ur car do whatever u want to it but i wouldnt cuz truly its not an SS and if someone beats u there going to be claming they beat a cobalt SS. As long its not a base model.

If they said they beat an SS, more power to them because the 08 sport is identical to the N/A SS so it would be no different.
