I wish you the best of luck, but i would be surprised if you get 12 months out of them without issues.
you get what you pay for.

Do you have the correct headlight to handle HID lighting?
if not, I strongly suggest you do alot more research on exactly what your doing to your car.

Mercury just posted comparison pics from HIDs in projo's and HIDs in the stock housing....He is the HID expert

is it safe to say putting HIDs in stock housings are a little on the rice side of things? Like honda boys, taking the easy way out for mods?

Well, they arent concerned about themselves, but you should have some concern for the people in your area. Blinding the **** out of every other driver on the road is unsafe for you and for them. guess what? if you blind them, they are just as likely to hit you as if there was no light coming from your lights... its unsafe

Well, you may live in a very small little town, but guess what? wilkes barre and scranton.... they aint so little... and double guess what? those cops dont know you, dont care who you are, and dont give a **** who you know. I've had to deal with those cops in that area and they arent so pleasant.

Basically, you get what you pay for. you are gonna buy a cheap half ass kit off ebay, and half ass the install and put it in your stock housings. Why not save some more, do it right, and have it look great instead of cheap

You sir, are an *******. Its ok to blind people and make them run into stuff if you don't know them?

I'm waiting for a set of stock lights to retrofit my own projectors before I touch HIDs. I swear to god I want to beat the hell out of everyone around here that drives with highbeams on or HIDs not in projectors...

because its magic.

And... not to take sides or criticize, but "professionally" installing HIDs are about as useful as professionally installing an intake. You should be able to do it yourself with no problem, and it won't make a difference either way either.

My friend got his HIDs "professionally" installed by a shop because he bought it from them and he knew them well and he blinds everyone in his mustang.

*plus it looks like crap personally, even inside the car. This is in stock housings
