I'd be interested for a set of white housing headlights that actually work haha, Can't do white housings on SS headlights because of the tint but i'd never pay more then 150 dollars for it.

Why not make a few sets and see what they go for on ebay? That would give you a goo measure of what people are actually willing to pay

You would have the option of color and design.

Here are my painted housings. They've been masked to keep a chrome ring around the lights and also to cover most of the reflector.

Hmm. I wonder how color matched head lights would look. Kinda like the corvettes.

I was thinking about getting my gen 4s painted. Would I have to supply a specific color or does the price include any color. I think 150 to 200 would be good if it includes shipping.

I think $100 tops plus shipping if your going to do this. I my self have done 30 sets. Its not hard at all. It only takes like 10mins to get each light apart, 5mins to take the housing apart, 5mins to paint, and an hour cure time with fast drying paint, which is you watching the paint dry, no labor. and then time to put it back together so your looking at 1 hour tops in labor for a set. let alone part/misc cost about $10. $200-300, in my opinion is rapping someone, stock head light cost 60-90 bucks each on ebay. someone could by a spare set and paint them and still be cheaper than 200-300. Or buy the black euro style headlights for 140, and by projectors for around 200-300. don't take it the wrong way. but your price is top high 100 plus shipping if they send there light back to you. add a 100 core til you get there stockers back thats a perfect price then. maybe you could add more if you had other special custom options.

SOrry guys, Price is not changing. We use OEM lights brand new from GM. Not ebay OEM Fakes. Also ours do not leak as all aftermarket lights do. We use OEM sealent also from GM. I sell plenty of them more then i can handle

Yeah OEM lights are higher quality than black housing ebay halos. My ebay halos have heat cracks on the lens after only like 3k miles. My OEM lights had one small leak problem but no heat cracks or any other issues for 45k miles.

In case no one has noticed..shipping is free for the custom painted lights. UPS is roughly 30$ with tracking and insurance. 230 is a good deal considering the cost of brand new OEM lights..

I hear what your saying, don't get me wrong i'm not trying to steal any of your business, I don't use ebay fakes headlights either out of the sets I have done. You can get gm oem headlight for 60-90 new if you no were to look, and sealing them super tight is not what stops them from leaking or fogging, it's having the light being able to breath proper as well, is the factor if they are going to fog or leak. I've been doing them for 5.5years and have never had one fog. $230 with shipping and the core charge is pushing it. There's are stock painted lights nothing special about them. Even after your cut in shipping, paint and core refund, your still making $90 pure profit. that's at the reasonable price imo. you asking $300 per set is making roughly $160 pure profit for less than of hour of labor time. Sorry it grinds my gears when I see people/business over charging. after all said i don;t mean to be a dick so please don't get mad or pist, i'm not trying to make enemies, just sticking my neck out there for the community, best of luck on you sales

p.s. do you have a link on this cup holder led kit you spoke of earlier. I might be intrested in the near near future.

Yes, you can choose how they look as well as color. I wanted the chrome rings as an accent.

Is this fairly simple if you know what you're doing? Yes.
Does everyone know what they're doing? No!
Does everyone have the time or desire to do this themselves? Of course not.

We know this won't appeal to everyone. Remember, we're not some giant corporation. We're just 1 1/2 guys who like cobalts! (I've had a really messed up back for the last 4 months, I'm not a lot of help on the production end of things!)

IMHO. If he charges 230$ and does get 90$ profit like you said.. the buyer 1: doesnt have to worry about doing it, 2: can rest assure it's done right by someone who's done this repeatedly, and 3: people don't start businesses without intending to make a lil profit out of it, otherwise, what's the point? If someone has a problem with paying or just plain wants to do the little project themselves (which I personally find it to be a bitch to do)... then just do it and don't complain that someone took the jump to pocket a few $$ and to help other enthusiasts out.

I want black housings but don't want to take a chance at doing them myself.
