Painted my grill

So I painted my grill this weekend, what does everyone think?

I am hoping sometime in the future to get some nice 6 or 7 spoke rims and get them powder coated white (and drop the car too of course)

And i know my car needs washed but it has been raining off and on ever since i reinstalled my grills (oh and excuse the pictures as they are from my cellphone)

And i am having 2nd thoughts about the front bow tie, i might paint the middle blue

Updated pictures on post 19

once you get some white wheels it will look great, i like it. but i think the blue bow tie will look better, hands down.

I used Krylon gloss white for plastic (it "bonds" to the plastic) and i actually had the bow tie painted blue but from a distance it looked like there was nothing there. I do like the SS idea and since i am de-badged i do have 3 of them sitting around, i will have to get some 3m double sided tape and try it tomorrow if its not raining

Yeah, this would look better than slapping an SS in there like everyone else does.

I would probably paint the bow tie black to tie it in with the headlights, and leave the trim around it white.

I thought this would look hideous, but it looks good! I don't think it would work well with any color other than blue, but I like it!

Looks good! You just need the inside of the bowtie painted, and some wheels matched up!

Looks really good. You should get white rims. That would look cool.

Update

Thanks for the compliments, I was iffy about how the grill would turn out when i started but the white just goes with the blue and it turned out 10 times better then I expected.

Here is an Update after re-painting the bow tie, which i think looks much better, Enjoy!

Wow that looks really good. It seems to match your color very well. I like it a lot more with the blue bowtie.
