hey first off i use to live in lakeland but now in kissimmee...and i have a 06 yellow ss/sc..but on your wheels there ok...i think soild black makes the car look dirty (even the wheels) if it had a crome lip then hell yeah it will look sweet...but did a good job on painted them....

yeah if i could have left a chrome lip i would have, but with these wheels it would have been a bitch and i dont know how it would look.

yeah have to wait on it though, the humidity in florida is killer and makes it really difficult to clear coat in the summer when you are painting in the elements.

I saw a brand new 3-series Bimmer with black painted wheels a few days ago and it looked really mean!

you need to do it within 24-48 hours though so it bonds properly with the paint.

ill probably end up sanding and recoating with a few coats of gloss black and clear when its not 100 degrees and 80-90% humidity, lol.

Nice job! I think painted rims help give the car its own personality, lol. Like mine, considering as far as I know mine are unique. I love them! Good job! Can't wait to see them after u get the clear coat on. Good luck with it!

lol, the hubs had to go!

its crazy after having steel wheels on my car for a few months im so happy to have the alloys back, the car feels quicker.
