Did you sand it down in between coats? The idea looks good but In the pics It looks like a sloppy paint job.

How did you get it on and off without mutilating it?

its held by the ends of the pieces (kinda like lil claws) so they grab the back of the horn piece....as you pull it out it straightens out to pull out..just wiggle it out gentlyso u wont bend the claws and make it impossible for it to stay on...

alright so from the looks of everyone you just pop this piece out with the wheel on
i need a new one since mine has a dent in the center of the bowtie.i read on another thread that you have to put something in the side holes of the wheel than pop the whole front off and it comes right ou
but i guess you can do it with out taking the front of the wheel off
whats the correct name for that tool? i saw ones like it at home depot yesterday and i want to deff do this because the dent pisses me off so bad

i was just going to get the cap than go to chevy and ask if they could put it on but deff didnt want to pay so i wanna go this route

get back to me on this

I'm always on eBay and other sites looking for cobalt **** and I've never seen this emblem for the 05-06 models. The ones I've seen are for 07-09 Only
