Ok theirs tons of threads on paint jobs this is my last post in them. I am a painter for a liveing. If you want a good job, take glass out, handles, bumper covers, mouldings, ect ect and want your door jambs done also. Meaning doing things the correst way expect $5000.00- $7000.00 or maaco for 500 and have it all fall off

I like that it's different, I wouldn't do that color, but I like the fact you're being different, just make sure if you get it done, have them do it right you get what you pay for

not to sound like a dick......if you want it done right done even think about the word cheap. get it done at a shop that does it will warrenty their work to(more expensive shops). when it comes to paint work you honestly get what you pay for. heres my 2 cents. save your money and have it done right the first time this way your not going back to the shop later asking why the hell is my paint flaking or peeling or has so many imperfections that werent taken care of. almost all the money goes into the prep work. if its prepped the right wayt here should be no problems....and your going to have an awesome finish when its all said and done. high priced shops dont have high prices for no reason. also take it to a reputable shop in your area so you know that your paintwork will come out good and you feel safe having your car there.

green + gold = sex for me.... dunny why , I saw it on an S2k once it made my jaw drop like no other. I planned on it being around 3-4k , we have paint center right down the street that offers warrantys and uses some special kind of paint , Ionno they are the only ones in town to use paint like the manufacturers do , or at least thats what they say and everyone in town gets their cars painted there.

I don't know if it shows up well, but http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/91...a-s-cabriolet/

I love that color. I'm not big on the neony vibrant, but I love British Racing Green. Not so sure on the gold, I need to see that I guess. I would think you could get a decent job for the 3-4 range depending on the labor rates in your area.
