you cant just rattlecan leather lmao! But SEM makes a really good product for putting over leather and apolstury etc. Cant remember the name, but the **** LASTS. Look into SEM products. My autobody teacher has a piece of leather he gave me that was sprayed and said its sprayed over leather, take the color off, and i cut it, and then tried chipping it off witht he knife and my finger nails figuring it would flake off easy, but i was wrong. **** bonded to the leather really well. Had to physically cut it with a knife to get it off and scrape on it. Good stuff.

yeah, you guys are giving him your advice like; he hasnt done it before and you have, it wont work, and its ricey

but in the end, he has done it and has worked so well hes going to do it again
and cobalts, camaros, and other american vehicles come with seat color schemes similar to what he did on
his tiburon, and what he is planning on the cobalt, but pleas keep in mind I am in no way saying the
tiburon is a nice or good car

I'd just like to throw it out there that you did a great job on painting those seats. I am a bit concerned with the longevity of a mod like that, though. I see some posts saying that if you use the right stuff it lasts but I'd still be a little apprehensive about doing it myself.

Perhaps when you do it again you could take pictures of the process and provide better information on the products out there to do such a mod, you could make a how to? However,I would hope you are certain that the paint or dye won't **** the bed on you before doing so.

I say that because I would entertain the idea of adding some orange to my seats if I was sure it would last. As a matter of fact I was already considering using orange dye on the SS logo.

Again, kudos on a good looking job on your tiburon seats.
