Parking Brake Handle

Why does the parking brake handle have to be so damn ugly? Does anybody have a fix, mod, or aftermarket recommendation? This is my second cobalt, I had a 05 base and now a 09 SS/TC, Why haven't you changed this handle chevy? I would have expected something a bit less like a square ***** and more like an actual cylinder.

X2 I hate the way the stocker looks but 130 is a bit high just for a handle.
