patching trunk holes from spoiler

hey got a question for all of you wingless guys. I have a base 2 door and want to go wingless but i am worried about the holes the wing will leave. What have you guys done (besides swapping trunks) to get rid of the holes, black is hard to paint match because you will see the defects when light hits it so please help

Can't notice it right? (I know its dirty but whatever )

I used Vinyl to cover the holes. Of course this shot has the vinyl edged in pollen and dirt lol

Random awesomeness shot

It really isn't noticable at all and lots cheaper than repainting the trunk. This way I can also put my spoiler back on when I sell the car

Good post, Merc. But do yourself and the car a favor and wash it! It hurts to see it like that...

My vinyl covers the holes exactally. The picture I posted is actually the picture of the oval hole. They aren't all circles

I am going to bump this thread because I have a similar question.

How do you guys cover the holes? I currently have white duct tape cover it and it is obvious once you get close.

I don't feel like welding my trunk, I heard there were plugs we could buy? Or perhaps do the vinyl route.. anyone have any suggestions? I am all ears.
