people with 5% tint... PICS!!!!!!
I know this sounds random, but can someone post a pic from the inside of your car looking out with the 5% tint? I want to see it as a comparison to the 20%
I've got 20% on my car now and I just can't help wanting it darker. I thought it would grow on me, but every time I get in my car all I can think about is how I wish it were darker. It seems like if there's any light on the inside you can see right through it and same for if the light is at a certain angle. It sucks, but it looks like I'm gonna have to pay to have it taken off then have new tint put on. This is gonna cost a lot (thank God for tax rebates and the other gov't check haha). But my theory on it is that the 'balt isn't going to be going anywhere for a LONG time so I might as well suck it up and do what makes me happy.

First, I don't have pics, sorry, but my brother has 5's and i have 20's. I don't like the 5's at all. I'm not a big stickler for the law or anything but its just not safe with the 5's. He can barely see out his windows at night. All i'm saying is be careful if you're going to get the 5's because they might be darker than you think they're going to be. Also, if you do decide to get darker tints, don't pay someone to take off your 20's, do it yourself. It's fast, easy, and you'll save some $, which is always nice
..i live in a suberb and it all depends where your driving.. if you live in a rural place dont by any means get your windows tinted that dark.. where i live i can see 100% fine at night, it all depends where your driving and how much light there is there. IMO 5% is the only way

Where I live it's kind of a mix between rural and highly populated so I would probably be okay. I just want to see pics so I can have an idea of what I want to do. I'm almost definitely going to go darker. At night the 20% makes it a little dark and during the day there's very little difference.
Pics?
Pics?
20% is the darkest ANYONE should go. I had 5% on the Ion and at night I had to drive with the windows down in order to see anything. Backing out of the garage in my condo complex was a nightmare, even during the day.

Does anyone know about 10%, 12%, or 15% (pics haha)? I wonder how those are at night and in the day. I want to find that good balance of being almost blacked out during the day while still having not too much difficulty seeing at night. 20% is just too light for me in all-around
5% rocks! i love mine. sure, it's a bitch to see at night, this is why we have power windows. only time i have to roll them down is backing up. not normal driving. you can still see out ur side windows normal driving.
hope this helps...

he probably doesnt have his windshield tinted hence why he needs sunglasses.... common sense FTL?
5% I have my mixed opinions on it. During the day, I love it, no one can see me, keeps sun out, at night or during the night while raining, holy vision nightmare. I have to roll my windows down, power or not its still a PITA, looks badass tho from the outside day or night. All depends on what you want personally. IMO I dont think id go this dark again

Yea that's not bad. I've got 20% right now and during the day looking out it's like there's no tint. From the pics I've seen so far of 5% it looks like you can see find during the day at least

The only thing I'm thinking is that during the spring/summer I drive with my windows down almost all the time anyway, so I think 5% would be too big of a deal
yea but the other half the yr when its cold. + when it rains or snows. But I will say that it looks good in the day but man night just really sucks bad. But I say do it if u dont like it go back to 20%
