lets see here....... all the wheels they make look like ass minues a few which everyone in gods name has.....example msr(even i have them) and im growing sick of the poor quality of them. hell even one of them had a pin hole it in and when i put the tires on it was leaking. pf01's another sick looking wheel but everyone will have them soon plus they dont come in a color i like....some of you wll say why not just powdercoat them? well you figure by the time i spend almost 400 a wheel on the enkeis plus powdercoating would put me at the price of almost a way nicer set of custom rims.....

so now i come to the alternative of

1. buying a custom set of wheels and spending some cash like via ccw, fikse, i-forged, volk, ssr, works, bbs etc etc

or

2. doing a complete 5x114.3 swap like will so that i can have a legitamite option on the wheels i want.

 

why not get spacers/lug pattern changers off ebay

 

nope. i love the fact i can get a custom offset with these. i had a 19x8.5 in there with a slight offset and it was barely clipping the brembos(no i didnt drive the car) but with no tire on the rim and not having it set on the ground it was hard to get a real image on how the wheels looks on the car. a 19" rim looked tiny with the car in the air and no tire.

because. i race the car and spacers and lug changers are a no no.

 

I would never spend that kind of money on rims. But to each their own. There are plenty of rims in our bolt pattern that are similar to the ones you posted the link for.

not similar in strength. i have CCW classics. who else has a 3 piece forged race wheel in 5x110?

 

honestly theres some similar.......but in all honesty like msr's they are cheap pieces of junk. the enkeis i want them wont custom drill either which is a downer or else i would get them.
