Sick cat......When I go wingless, I want the cf trunk lid like shortbus has. I think that looks amazing

 

I'm with you on that. whats that trunk cost? I haven't gotten them filled in yet... i dunno what to do yet... vinyl?

well like the guy told me 5% at night time is almost too black to see properly out of... I'd go 15, i find my 17 is even tricky at times in the night. Plus in the winter I don't want to be rolling the windows down to make sure the coast is clear... Plus I wanna make use of my new rear view mirror! hehe

 

ya and like i said before it seems even rarer now... Use a heat gun , not a blow dryer to heat the bottom of the trunk ( carefully ) to get the glue off after the bolts... hair dryer took forever and still was a bitch to pull off.

 

i didint use any kind of heat to take my wing off.... i just pulled and pried with my hands..... took a razorblade to cut the streching adhesive, it took about 5-10 mins per side...... use vynal to cover the holes, i did and it looks fine, i want the 3 pc spoiler thougand cf trunk

 

where would i find vinyl to cover it do i just hack apart a sticker or can it be purcahsed at like a craft store also can you get a pic of what the vinyl looks like

if you can find somebody with no spoiler that wants to trade do that its easier and you dont have any holes to fill. thats what i did

looks sick.... wow i really like, specially the chopped down pic. I wanna get mine lowered but its not happening this year... plus then in the winter it'd be a real bitch. Air ride push button suspension is where its at... 2000 grand however.

Yeah I got a better solution. I hate to drive my car in winter. I getting something for $2000 for winter too. better than air ride suspension. A Jeep yj. then park it. that is the way to go.

 

ya i'd like to do that, just the cost of a new ( old ) vehicle and then making payments on mine (cobalt) and a snowmobile i don't think will fly... grr dam money .

 

yeah and on top of it I am looking at a new house for $250,000.

 

no offence but if i were you wingless guys i would buy the rk sports 3piece spoiler,,,the cobalt looks weird with out a wing or spoiler!

Well I thought of getting one but it reminds me of a cavalier then. that association is what I was trying to get away from as well as the association of mounting a ironing board on my trunk like a punk kid (no offence but that is what alot of people say and even more will think this)

 

How many holes and of what size are left after removing this ?

Your torque brace is mounted wrong. The bracket should be between the two notches on the engine mount.
