I took off the rubber from the clutch and brake(gas pedal does not have anything over it) I taped off the pedals to mark holes...drilled pilot holes...then screwed in the clutch and gas pedal as they are plastic.* The brake is metal and was a BITCH to drill hole in that as my drill sucks donkey *****.* So that pedal uses a bolt locking screw on the backside.* I got them done through Ultimate Pedals.* I think they have a website too.

Oh yeah....everyone knows that little "ss" emblem to the far right of our dash by the passenger seat right? WELL.....does my gas pedal look familiar then? LOL I took it off there and told them to inlay it flush. I had to do multiple templates for them as they had never done a Cobalt. Size; curvature; measurements; spacing.....etc. This has been like a 5-6 weeks process to complete. Been a secret

That's cool as hell. Only way to make it nice would be to cover up the screws

Yeah I was considering that.* It's all good though.* This is a CLOSE up pic.* I wanted to show the "SS".* From outside the car looking in the pedals look great even with the screws.* I had more screws but 2 in the smaller pedals will hold just fine so I passed on putting more in.

The grip is perfect. There is more grip than the stocker plastic but it is still easy to pull your foot off. I was aftaid they would be too grippy but they work great.

Prices vary a lot depending on if you inlay anything.....finish; rubber inserts or not; etc.*

nice useless mod. lol j/k. those truned out pretty nice, and they are definetly unique. you should see if they can make a dead petal to match it.

so you said the brake petal and gas petal are both plastic, and the clutch petal is metal? im thinking about getting some momo petals to match my e brake handle.

I MEANT that the PEDAL that connects to the arms that came with the car. The pedals I put on are aluminum. I think the brake is all metal bc in case you're about to wreck and have to dropkick the brake. Makes sense.
