I actually prefer them to most of the shitty retrofit jobs I've seen.

The light output is pretty awesome and compared to the other aftermarket headlights, the quality of the headlight itself is probably the best. There's also no stupid 3 randomly placed LEDs or some stupid halo that burns out in a month.

Either the Gen 4's or spend some money and build a good set of retros.
Did you get the black or chrome depos?

I have depo gen 4 with 6000k hids on high and low beams, light output is great, they are a pain in the neck to get aligned well with the body, they will fit like crap if you just swap them, it takes a bit of playing around with the metal bracket that holds theblack plastic frame that holds the headlight.
It's a good buy for the money.
I still want to build retros they look great if built properly.

Depo lens can separate or stress crack just like all the other aftermarket lights. Supposedly they have fixed this but I'll let someone else confirm.

A retrofit's well worth it. Retrofitting Mini H1s isn't hard and puts out way better light. Those other projector lights are meant for halogens. Sticking HIDs in them could create excessive foreground light. Actual HID projectors can distribute the light a lot more evenly. Retrofitting Mini H1s is easy. Just a little trimming and they screw right in. I probably went over budget with my new EvoX-R retrofit, but I can see forever with them.
