Looking for pictures of cobalts who did a G5 trunk swap. Was thinking of going CF trunk but then thought about something different I dont see too much on here. Swapping a G5 trunk with no lights onto the balt. Should be a clean look. Anyone done it please post pics.

you'll have no reverse lights....illegal.......you'll need the g5 bumper for the reverse lights

 

Or you can just make your own custom reverse lights somewhere. I would just put them somewhere around the license plate. Doesnt have to be huge lights just something that works.

 

I dont know about the no reverse lights being illegal.
There may be a year made issue but I was running through hoops trying to get the reverse lights on a hotrod I was playing with (53 chevy) to work and started looking into it and could not find anything anywhere about Having to Have reverse lights. i am not saying its a good idea just saying I haven't seen any laws stating such.

Yeah... it just looks odd with the Cobalt bumper. The G5 tails and bumper complete the look.

 

see i think that looks hot. I mite have to go sign up on a G5 forum and see whats in the classifieds.....
and i dont care about no reverse lights, mine havnt worked in 2 years anyway. if i wanted to worry about what was illegal on my car i wouldnt have went catless, wouldnt have gotten my windows tinted, wouldnt have rigged my D3 to play videos while driving....
