That lock needs blacking out too.
Any ideas?
On my old car, I just used a black Sharpie on it, but you had to re-do it often.

Doesn't that car come with a black grille? My base model coupe did.

Is that a dent on the hood (above light) on the 2nd pic?

ok buddy that cop must be a retard cuz doing any modification to the clear lens is illegal. believe me im graduating from law enforcement next month, but depending te state it could be but i highly doubt it, the cop probably told you that it was legal so when he does see it will pull ur friend over...lol thats why when u see headlight and tail light covers for sale it says for OFFROAD/SHOW use only. cuz they dont want you coming to them saying it was legal to buy.

That explains a lot right there. Tint is a state thing (that is open to a LOT of interpretation in PA), but headlights and tail light laws are governed by the DOT. States are allowed to make additional restrictions on them, but they cannot be less restrictive than the DOT laws.

Thumbs up

i had an 88 Iroc Camaro with black tail light covers, and I got pulled over weekly, they even made me get a vehicle inspection, but never said anything about the tail light covers, and i passed the inspection with the covers on
