I'm not a fan of the big bar that runs across the front of the grill on my LS.
I've got some flat black vinyl lettering film and I'm gonna make it go away. I'm also going to get some of that candy red translucent rattle can model paint and paint the bow tie.

I do think it is interesting with the black, but not the red

 

IMO that color combination immediately brings to mind ronald fn mcdonald

 

i have a yellow ss and i wouldnt do that.

 

You also have to take into considertion will it look blacked out or will it look like you put black film on it. In natural light things look much differently.

 

OOps, sorry. I forgot to say my car is a white LS. And the badge will keep its chrome border.

Any shop that sells vinyl banners and graphics. I'm going to check if they got the stuff like what's covering the door post while I'm there. That would be perfect.

no before i bought my car from the dealer i told them i like the 2.4 liter engine but i like the way the 2.0 body looks so they said they can make the 2.4 look like the 2.0 with the kit and wing so i said cool, then i said can u take off the cold emblems i hate that color, they said no its illegal for some reason and they offered to paint the emblems victory red while they painted the body kit from the 2.0, i love the way it looks now and i will be posting pics of my car up next week sometime look for the thread soon

yes i have already done this but no vinyl was ever involved to the best of my knowledge just a simple paint job on the emblem and its perfect, pics will be here hopefully next week when i get my scanner on line and figure out how to post pics
