Plasti Dip Recommendations?
SO! Because I jacked up my trunk I've settled on Plasti Dipping the Hood, Roof and Trunk. However...I'm at an impasse as to what color I should do -.-.
My Ideas: Midnight Blue, Deep Red, or a Metallic Grey/Space Grey color?
What are your thoughts on what would synergize well with Black? I'm just trying to get some suggestions.

Looks like it's going to be $200-225 to Wrap the Trunk and do the GT Stripes Matte Black. Not horrible..but for 75 more I could grab a trunk haha.

I don't think you can wash wrap.
if you can spray can..you can dip it.

You'll be good with a couple cans.... no prep, just clean dirt and debris off.
If matte black looks good, eventually you should think of painting it, or you will have to re-do the dip every so often.

but I say get 4-5 cans.
remove trunk
set it up so you can spray in front of you. no weird angles
clean it make sure no moisture anywhere dirt/debri/grime
sand down those bondo job you did to an even surface
spray away. let dry, do like 5-6 coats.

cans will absolutely not come out as smooth as spraying with a gun. Dip gets a bad name because people don't know how to spray it and **** it up them blame the dip. Cans don't spray the same amount as spraying out of a gun so you don't get enough coverage and it doesn't peel as well. Also you will more than likely get tiger stripes with cans. Get a gun, practice with it and you'll get much better results

Yeah I understand that. Wrapping is just A LOT more than even having it professionally dipped :/ $150 to Debadge the Trunk, Dip the Trunk, do the Fender Stripes all Matte Black Dip. or that $225 for Vinyl Wrapping the Trunk and doing the Stripes. Money is somewhat tight, I made a mistake so I'm trying to fix it in the most cost effective way :/

Speaking of colors...I made a new color the other day and it's pretty sweet. In pics it almost looks like a raspberry with flake and such in it but in person it's got a purple hue to it and has a galaxy type look. Will be spraying it tomorrow to see how it looks over a light base.
