alright, i need your guys help because i have a dilemma.. i cant decide what route to take on my wheel color. any opinions are appreciated!

well since i absolutely hate ss/sc rims that are painted all black, i would say keep em polished, buuuut i do like the look of the face of the rims being painted black but the inlets being kept polished, if done right they look awesome.

Polished looks good! Back when I wanted an SS/SC I wanted one with polished wheels and not gunmetal. Polished just stands out more. Also I love that you have "VENOM" painted on your intercooler.

It depends on the color of the car. Apparently you're a Maroon so its already a dark. I have a Summit White and Chrome just makes it too bright / bling for me. My rims are going to powder coat in 10 days for Gloss Black and the Calipers are going in for the High Heat Olympic White. Going to have the Black Shoe, White Shoe-laces treatment.

Does it ever, but he has a maroon red not a regular hex color. The black would look nicer then a gold or a bronze.

But the reason why a lot of people have black rims is because it looks nice.

 

I know. And I agree it looks best on his color, I just think it's played out. But I have a black car, so I'm annoyed with black wheels

Black is way too overdone. When I look at a car I like to see wheels not giant black voids that very easily pass for steelies.

 

Too many people have regular alloy rims, I like to see people who change the wheels up. It shows that they actually care about changing the vehicles look.

My mom has regular alloy wheels.

 

Black is excessively overdone at this point.
