Polishing my Calipers Instead of Paint
Ok Instead Of Painting the nice Aluminum, I Decided that I would give Polishing a Try.
So Far I'm Happy with the way they r coming out, So I figured that i would Post some Pics to see wat you Guys & Gals think.
I know they have Blimishes I'm Still working on them. But you can see the difference for yourself.

I think they will look Really Nice when project is finished.

Just make sure you take care of them and clear coat them. I have friends that polish their bike frames and its always a bitch to keep it shining. Takes a lot of care and upkeep.
It does look sweet though. Post up pics when ya put em on.

Wanna polish my valve cover for me??
I bought a 1,200 dollar set-up to do every thing that is alum.
When i get done with the brakes, we could talk.
By the way it is not a daily driver so should last forever, Car is getting about 3k a year or less.

How do you go about polishing something with such a rough surface?
Can you possibly do a write-up w/ Pics and How-To's.
They look awsome man! I've never seen calipers like that, its different, and thats what i like. I was going to look into polishing some parts over next winter, but am not to sure how to. Are you just grinding the surface flat, then basicly buffing it smooth/shiney? 600-1000-1500-2000 grit?
Keep up the good work!
