So! I know the cobalt SS community tends to REALLY be against after market body kits. The base model guys and 2.4L guys not so much, but us performance guys all tend to be stock bodies. People have come up with the evo mod or the painting of lips and stuff to be 'different'.

Well some of us want other stuff, different stuff, etc. And damnit there is a way to be 'different' without beign rice or retarded!

So I PM'ed a few people, gauged some local interest with some of my friends of other makes, and then shot a PM to extreme dimensions to see what they thought. They said if the interest is there, they will make it. So I thought, hey, what the ****, post it up, see if the masses like this style:




I personally love this photo shop. It wouldn't be exactly like this, but something of the sort. Allow the stance guys to get a bit low, and us aggressive/different people get something that looks really killer. Now it could be front bumper and side skirt extenders, or a whole wide body thing too. either way. Post up some opinions and stuff of what you'd like to see in reference to this.

Personally, gimmie a whole aggressive ass wide body and I'll be fine! But I'd be down for a less aggressive one with a good looking front bumper, side skirts, and rear to keep costs down. Just want a kit that actually looks good for once.

I kinda like it but it would be better if ya had a front and rear shot of the car to see what it looks like all the way around.

It's gotta be a $hitty car if you have to talk down on other people's cars to make yourself feel better about yours. Now if it is a nice car, then there is no need to talk **** about other people's cars or degrade them on their thoughts and ideas. Every time i see you post its always a nuisance to the cobalt community and btw get a new "come back" beside "truth hurts", but anyways if I had to guess what your car is I would say... It's a Red 07 Cobalt? And if its not then change your d@mn screen name Thank you Come again!

 

The wide body kit part isnt too bad, but the side skirts arent low enough they dont create a smooth lower body line, also I have no idea what is going on with the front bumper and the wing. With that being said I probably wouldn't buy it, I'd rather have tires poking out

and the only way one could pull this off is if they do the FULL wide body kit if one just gets the front bumper it will look stupid!

 

 

drift car -_- I hope its a rwd conversion cuz it sure has the rear tires for it lol. is that a tow hook sticking out from the hood...I want one.

But yeah not really feeling it that much. I like the once rice put better. except for the eyelids. those can burn in hell

This photo has been around for a while and I'm personally not a fan. I don't think our 'skinny' cars could pull it off, like at all.

I personally like the stock look. Even if everyone and their mothers have it. It's just one of those things that look best unchanged. Which is prolly why I do like that old one haha

You could do it like some dude I saw on facebook where he cut the top of where the front bumper is. Like to show more intercooler or get more air. I think it looks ugly and ratchet but people on fb were loving it apparently lol

Oh yeah thats the Jason Whitefield look. Useless on my car at least. The ZZP core isn't that tall. And too me, yeah, it looks hack job for sure.

I dunno, this is my reach out for something NOT STOCK. Many cars in the scene have clean looking and/or aggressive body kits and stuff. I don't particularly want to look like every other damn car on this site But meh, it is what it is.

Oh I meant as far as the drift car comment part i think the hood tow hook would be sweet for sure.

 

i feel ya dude. i do like the pic you posted to an extent at least... a lot of people would be rocking different bodykits if all the current options werent so god damn ugly

 

oh yeah I agree too lol. Out of the bodykits I've seen I'd rock one of these before all the other ones lol. I just think there'd be way too much work in getting these made. Esp cuz of the wide body and idk if it'd look good without the big ass rear tires.

Other cars that look good with body kits and stuff are cars that don't look good stock imo. Well most of them. I just think that gm got it 100% right straight from the factory on these cars. Love the stock look and if it would have looked different from factory and our "stock" kit had been sold as a kit then it would've definitely been the highest selling kit imo lol
