Post pics of your projector cutoff line.

First of all, mods if you feel the need to move this go ahead, I thought this would go well with the headlight and tail light thread in this section.

Ok guys, we have plenty of pics organized into a single thread of everyone's projectors, both aftermarket and retrofit, but very few of cutoffs as a comparison. While I'm researching for a new "headlight project" of mine, I thought we might as well compile a thread full of pics of cutoff lines and beam patterns to see how they compare and show why retrofits truly are superior, and find which one is the best.

I'll start with my G1s, sold by buyhids.com, low in cost and easy to install. Not the highest quality but are a good start for those who don't want to spend the money are put the effort into a real retrofit.

Low beam

For myself, I'm looking for the sharpest, most colorful cutoff line I can with a smooth beam pattern.

did you have to color mod those? Or is that how they came? The FX-Rs are what I'm thinking of getting.

That's pretty much how my gen 3s looked, good job aiming them, I'd say that's about as good as they get. That really shows the hotspots they have.

im really thinking about retrofitting the Gen 3's. The cutoff isnt bad and they have a hotspot but so does the G1's. I really like the FX-R seems like a solid bright light and nice clear cutoff.

also have to take cameras into consideration here when looking at lowlight cutoff's.

So are my G1s really. Nothing compared to the FX-Rs I want. Good enough for the price though.

yeah that dnt look too good.
my cutoff is pretty good now after messing with it a long time. i have to adjust it a little bit bc theres one part where its raised. but other than that its pretty crisp
ill put pics up eventually whenever i decide to take pics at a flat wall which i got the perfect spot to do it.
only problem i had was sometimes my one light looks more blue than the other one but thats having to do with the aiming and stuff

Whats up with the shadow on the bottom of the FX-R? Thats a nice comparison. I want the brightest with the sharpest cutoff. I hate the look of faded cutoff lines. What and where to buy. The S2k look damn nice.

the fx and fx-r's just do that at the bottom it's the foreground cutoff. s2ks are sexy butlow beam only

where can i find a set of S2K projecto's. I only need lowbeam to retrofit into gen 3's. And im new to this **** so clear lenses are better as they allow a more oclorful cutoff from what i read, so do these have OEM clear lenses or do i have to purchase them, and who the f**k manufactures retrofit lenses if i need them

iv been there before and i dont see them. there listed under the A la cart menue but only a single one. THinkin about just nabbin up FX-r's. And saw the thread about the Gen3's and dont know why u would need a shroud? The gen 3's use a chrome piece and the halo as a shroud. Interested in how those "demon eyes" work. Like where is the LED located?
