Has anyone painted one of these $20 ebay ones.I bought one and it seems like rubber.Just wonderin if they are paintable.

 

Everything is paintable. As for the Tjin Cobalt... SICK. I looked into those wheels and yea the price was outrageous.

The guy that bought it deff got a steal.

 

Mines painted. Just add flex additive

 

Our trunks are 42" - just measured.

 

I got 42.5 and there's still room of about 3/8ths of an inch on each side.

 

Think the Sedans are a slightly different. They have two different ones online - one for coups and one for sedans.

says they are factory painted, just wondering if anyone has tried one yet, my 4dr LS is gold so id do that but im not sure if i wanna go black to match the black wheels, tint, headlights and taillights.

I just bought one off ebay and it will be color matched, they asked for my paint code and they lay down 3 layers of paint and clear it, cost me $50 shipped (comes from an Audi specialist in London, but is made to fit the cobalt sedan)

Once i get it (takes like 3 weeks between painting and INTL shipping) ill post pics on my SS Sedan

im going to try and find some yellow vinyl to cover my spoiler holes with temporarily till i can afford to have it filled and painted

 

HMM i wonder how this would look with a highrise still on it..

 

^ So this painted one on Ebay only fits Sedans?? Any painted ones for a coupe? I ordered an unpainted one awhile back but i destroyed the paint on accident putting it on- then destroyed the wing trying to fix the paint.

 

^^ no, i just ordered the one for the sedan, im sure you can search one for the coupe, this one is just meant for the sedan

im gunna go out on a limb when i get taxes back and try this combined with this, hoping for a good look, also going to get some 5mm spacers in the rear if they make a difference. (not sure why, rear window lips are mostly associated with stanced cars in my eyes)

Edit: those dicks dont have Cashmere gold.....but then again they never made ss's in this paint so i guess its somewhat limited or they just dont bother. Will it look ok black? considering i have black emblems/wheels

 

Buy 2 of them and cut the second to wrap around. Sand it to whatever shape you want the taper to be.
