How is everyone painting/powder coating their Brembo calipers. I want to powder coat mine, but I've heard that once you take them apart, they're useless. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

Take them to John Powell.

 

i had a local shop do mine just took them off and painted and cleared them with house of kolor paint

 

Just curious what your cost was on that.PM me if you don't want it advertised.

 

This might be my only option. I've talked to him previously about this. Only problem is it's pricey. Can you PM me as to how much you spent on powder coating? I already know the price for the calipers. BTW, this is Andrew. I added you on Facebook today.

 

from what I heard the best option is to buy brand new calipers.. send them in for coating and sell your original ones

sorry to revive an old thread but if i were to take my callipers off and get them just painted and not powdercoated i should be fine right? They wont be baked and thats what ive seen the concerns were, just wanted some opinions.

 

i painted mine with g2 paint and ive had no problems so far

 

im gonna get mine painted in a booth though and try to get a chip guard undercoat, did you take yours off the car or no/
