pre-cut tint?

Has anyone ever used any pre-cut tint before? I found this on eBay and it seemed half-way descent...

if you're getting a tint, get it done by a pro

they use better films, and know what they're doing. generally, a self done job ends up in you paying someone to remove and reapply.

I have tinted my own windows, but when I say windows I mean the windows on my garage. Turned out 1/2 way decent, but I woudl never let anyone but a professional tint my cars windows.

I usually wouldn't either, but mine is a lease. I don't want to pay 200 to do it, then remove it later on anyway. I figured 50 was better. lol. I tried to do my Cadillac, but I just used the normal sheets. Now THAT was hard. 7 freakin' windows. If my dad ends up taking it after/before the lease is up, I'll get it professionally done. The Monte will definately get some though...

First off, ******* was not nescessary.

Second, where is any rules signifying the limits of a signature? I found none. I went into rules/FAQ and found nothing. Sorry that I have 3 cars that I wanted to show a picture of. I didn't even host the picture on the forum. It's on photobucket.

If you have never shrunk a back window before then you're wasting your money. I'm tellign you this because I DO TINT WINDOWS. Window tinting is a skill/art, not a DIY project. You are wasting your money. TRUST ME !!!! Take it to a pro and spend the $150-|$200. Even though you say it's a lease you wont get charged for it. Dealerships will gladly accept your tinted vehicle becasue they will be able to charge more for your car because the windows ARE tinted.

Oh yeah, and check your local tint laws casue even though that ebay company is selling you a "whole car kit" most states will not allow you to tint the drivers & passenger windows. Well, u can, but not legally

Yeah, a friend of mine had some put on his 2000 Civic coupe that looked AMAZING. He had to take it off a week later.

There's a shop around up that does immaculate work. It's like 180 for a coupe and 240 for a sedan or something like that.

Thats a fair price. I charge ~ $150-$200 for 5 windows (2 door) and ~ $180-$240 (4 door) ~ $120-$150 (rear windows) depending on make,model,year.

Some of my work:

It's been a while since I added any new cars, but there's a few.

Mine was 150 for 35% on my backdoors and windows + 6" stript up front. Ive tried tinted and jsut forget about it lol i have no patience when it comes to that. NH allows 35% back and 6" and thats it i think i might add 50% up front jsut to keep uv rays out. they dont bother you if back looks darker then front within reason.
