PROJECT HALO (laser blue)

Just thought i would post a couple of pics of what i have been working on since i got my projectors from the group buy.

I was able to find a local paint shop that took my paint code and compared it against this camera they put on the bumper of the car. From there they matched my LASER BLUE and filled me up a can of spray paint.

Here are the results... keep in mind i just finished sealing them so the silicone is still white, it will turn clear once it drives in 24-48 hours

the paint cost $24 CDN for a 16oz can. It is basecoat so i needed to buy a $13 can of clear coat.

There was no cost for the color match all part of their service.

I would say taking them apart is about the same as doing the stocks. I have not taken my stocks apart but i based taking the projectors apart by looking at the forum on the stocks.

My brother had a heat gun that he let me borrow which made the job much easier.

So far i just have the one complete, but the second is not far behind. I will most def post more pics.. it is hard to take pics of headlights with a flash.. and it is dark in my house

i started out with black ones.. i know someone asked that earlier..

I have not replaced any of the LEDs yet.. they are not even installed. Once they are i will just how bright they are. My brother has the same lights and they are installed.. they seem bright enough for me.. but who knows

What a great idea. You could have also bought the spray paint from GM, they make factory color spray.
