you have to take the bulb out of the harness. than plug the harness from the led tail light into the stock lighting housing i believe.

ahhhh you bought the cheap 120 dollar ebay ones??
you need a resistor for those
my buddy got them and he never wired the resistor in. imo i don't like them i like my ipcw ones. best led tails for the coupes. a lot of people don't like how they stick out a lot but i like them there sex at night

funny story

i had those LED Tails for like a year cus i didnt know how to wire them in and when i got them it was winter in chicago and i just got tired of freezing my ass off working on my car outside so i held off on them. well one day i got bored and was looking at it and decided to try so i proceeded to take apart my trunk and get my wiring kit ready and all the tools and i couldnt figure it out so before i cut it i made a thread simular to this one and i posted pics and asked for a how to....

low and behold someone said "dude those are plug and play" i plugged them up and they worked i was SO SO SO PISSED, i had those damn lights forever and didnt even know how to hook them up and it took me like 3 mins to get them done.

that was my stupid moment in car history.

The LED tails that look stock are completely plug and play. No need for any weird ass wiring jobs. IMO these look the best because they look completely stock but they're LED. Nobody makes any aftermarket light that I find tasteful, so I stuck with these. If the lights in question look like mine, all you have to do it plug them into the light bulb socket and they're done. That big goofy looking box thing is the resistor that's built in.

hey,

I'm interested in getting led tails and it sounds like you know what your talking about. which ones should I get, and from where? (As for best quality and longest lasting leds)

I bought led projectors on ebay, which I love, but the damn leds burned out in like 2 months, and haven't replaced them yet, and have to figure that out too...

The LEDs in the projectors are just standard 5mm LEDs. You just got to attach new ones to the wires and you will be set.
