quick front grille question

Hey guys,

Probably gonna order the t/c grilles from CED here this week.. My question is this:

Can you do the grille swap while keeping the bumper on the car? It seems like the bottom one just kinda snaps into place (from how my stock bottom grille was).. Does the top basically clip in or is there a few tabs and stuff? Can't quite figure it out from the image from their site.. Looking to do it with the bumper on the car. I figure I can do the under-side of the top grille by reaching through the bottom grille opening..

Images or links to help? Thanks!

It's pretty easy to do, you just remove all the pushpin clip things holding everything together, you'll understand better when you see it.

The easiest way to remove the bottom grille is to hit into a snow bank. It'll pop right out. lol. That's what happened to me last year.. lol

But it's an easy procedure to swap with the bumper on the car?

QFT

Took me about 30 minutes. I also replaced all the rivets with screw in rivets to make it easier on me.

And I thought I was the only one using the snow plow method of grill removal

Lower is a 5 minute job, upper is a little longer but not too bad as long as you don't have Popeye arms
