with projectors(3rd gens) and hids will i still maintain high and low beams? im pretty sure i will but i just want to check anyways..

If you have the 3rd gen projectors (or any gen actually) you will have a separate bulb for highs and lows. Lows would end up being HID after you get the kit and highs will remain halogen.

Unless you run both at the same time (who does that), it looks good. I have 8000k in mine now. Looks great.

You could always put in a second set of HIDs for the highs.

 

HIDs in the highs is rather pointless. It takes several seconds for the bulbs to get up to operating brightness, so during the switch from low to high and high to low you would literally be driving blind. You also completely lose the ability to flash with the highs with HIDs. Better to just buy better light bulbs for the highs and leave them halogen.
