Quick Question.

How hard is it to put a set of lambo doors on my ss/sc? Is there a lot of welding involved or is it just bolt on? I have a buddy that has a set for sale for 400 bucks. Cant turn it down...just want to know how difficult they are to put on. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

The guy selling it to me said that it was a universal kit. So does that mean that it is going to be a pain in the ass?

probably, it will probably involve welding and almost certainly inner fender trimming, search around most people have not had fun installing these kits.

I think you are looking at a pain in the ass.

Honestly the kits aren't that hard to do if you know what you are doing but there is often times welding and cutting involved that the average guy probably doesn't want to do.

Universal kits will be a pain in the ass to install. My bolt on kit was just time consuming more than anything with the adjustments needed. It was a pain at first but once you know what you are doing it isnt so bad

if you got a kit specifically for the cobalt it wouldnt be so bad. but you will be paying more than a grand for them. but for $400 you might as well do it.

I dont suppose there is a how to guide for lambo doors is there? I'm just not too sure about cutting and welding on my brand new car....kinda makes me sick to my stomach...you know what i mean? I'll probably just buy them, and see what all it is going to take to put them on, then ask around at local body shops and see how much of a raping im going to recieve. If it is too much of a hassle...look for a set of lambo doors for sale in here!
