Quick question, about mats

Hey all, got a quick question for ya. first off i have an 06 ss/sc.

My balt did not come with any mats, so im looking for a set. I have heard they are cheap quality and might not last long. I realize that and I do have a rubber one for the drivers side. But I would like a nice new set for the other seats.

So just to confirm, as far as color goes, the ebony color is the one im looking to get right? I see it comes in a grey too. This is the set in ebony:

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=15296507

Also, do the cobalts come with a trunk mat? a mat that goes above the one with the cardboard type thing on the underside. Mine only came with that piece that basically gives the trunk a surface. nothing on top of that. I figure there should be but couldnt find anything on gmpartsdirect.

Also, I was gonna go ahead and order the SS lower grill from the same site. When I search for it though (15773841) the description only says COVER. the price is 66.88 and Im not sure if its the right thing.
This is what it says:
GM PART # 15773841
CATEGORY: License Plate Bracket/Plate
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $109.00
OUR PRICE: $66.88

Thanks for the help in advance.

And yes u shoul dhave a carpet over the cardboard in the trunk.. must be they were trying to save u a few pounds to boost up ur 1/4 mile times.. lol

I would get the all weather ones. They are more heavy duty. They cost like $100 for a whole set. I wore out the stockers and so have a lot of people on here, they are just plain cheap. check out cobalt accessories at CED or even at http://www.chevrolet.com/cobalt/accessories/

k thanks so much!. I will call the dealer and find out about the trunk mat. wonder why it aint on the site, would have bought it too. Maybe they do carry it, I just need to find the part number.

The reason I want to get stockers is because no one really sits in my car besides me, occasional passenger only. And i got a rubber one already from my last car im using now. im just gonna throw the driver's side in the trunk.

BTW, omg you people are so quick.

When u say a mat for the trunk do u mean something more then just the carpet? Or do u just have the cardboard? I have the carboard and then the carpet on top of that with some sound deading material.

I have the cardboard piece sandwiched between carpet and some foam it think. Its all 1 piece.

What I thought was that there was another piece that goes on top of this.

lol damn!!

Thanks again for the replies. truly appreciate it. hmm I think i would have liked that rubber insert. I like to throw my change in the cupholders and they were rolling around a lot in there. The rubber might fix that.

Will they fit in the ss cupholderS?

I took a look at the how-to on the ss lower grill and someone mentioned gmpartsdirect had it for 50 bucks, but that was back in 06. Before I place an order im gonna call a dealer tomorrow and find out how much it will be through them. Good chance it will be more expensive but you never know.
