I'm buying another SS/TC in White in the next few weeks and I wanna get some Idea's on what way Ill like to go about matching paints.....I Like having rally stripes that's me so Post all your rally stripes here. Ill go first.

 

Okay, I'm not usually one to like rally stripes. But they look SO GOOD on this one. Nice Balt!!

 

eww eww eww rally stripes didnt come on a cobalt nor do they belong on one lol keep them to the camaros and novas and chevelles not cobalts sorry man...

 

not a fan of colored stripes on black.. maybe a gunmetal or white or silver.. but not a color

even rally stripes in general on a balt can be mehh. looks good if the color combo works well otherwise it looks off to me

 

Not really full rally stripes but their stripes. I'll trade ya for your straight white hood and trunk once you get the new ride if you're interested lol

Nothing comes on the Cobalts!! not even your aftermarket wheels or carbon fiver hood!!! heck at least I'm staying withing the US code and not wanting to make my car look like a Jap car doing Evo Mods.....lol

i always thought 'raiders' was a good combo... i'd rock this car soo hard
also one time i saw silver lsj with red stripes... wound up following him in my silver, nonstriped lsj for a while lol and it grew on me quick

 

i dont like the stripes UNLESS they go down the whole center of the car the factory stripes do not look good but these two on here do

 

i HATE rally stripes.

but your rims set the stripes off very nicely and i preed in my pants a bit........

with your white one, go with what you feel, Ive always been a fan of white with a dark metallic purple accents. but the purple stripes would look AWFUL!!!! personally, if your going white keep it clean, no stripes keep it nice and subtle. i dont think white is a color that needs messing with.

what i think you should do is keep the black balt, then with your rims throw another color on the inside of the spokes or a different color lip. use white or silver there. or find somethign so abstract that because its so ugly it looks good. then throw that new color somewhere else into the car, but just a little bit of it. like a line of it here or line of it there
Teal/Turquoise somewhere along those lines seem to be calling my name.

 

Thanks for the compliments guys....It was a costly Job TBO.... I had in mind White on Sun Roast Flat Black Stripes but I dont know.....Ill have to Photoshop it first to C how it looks....umn maybe Forza 4, let me C if it can be done in Forza to C how it looks.

 

dont do flat black, everyone does some form of black on/for everything

 

IMO the White with Hugger Orange is icon Chevrolet. plus what bow tie fan doesnt like hugger orange?

i like hte stripes but only on the hood and trunk, and they have to have the pinstripe around them Example:

but i would have them closer together


and a little further down the trunk, to about the inward bodyline


and dont forget. if you're going for the 69 camaro look, the stripes on the trunk are spaced out further than the stripes on the hood. and cur out the stripes around the emblem's

boy that ricer word is thrown out there alot..... i guess any camero ss, nova ss, grandsports, s10 extreme's, or plain old any car with stripes have now become ricer's..... amazing....... if you ask me any car with a mod that was inspired by a import is a ricer.... lol lets get this straight dude ricers are guys who put huge soup cans on the exhaust, huge spoilers, stick on vents, or tiny ass tires with huge wheel gap... or simply 90% of honda owners lol.... if we all modded our cars like you dont you think cars would get boring?

We're all "ricers" you ignorant ****! We're modifying 4 bangers to be flashy an attention getting. Putting stripes on cars is the complete opposite of rice though, it's been used for decades on muscle cars. It's not like he's asking about putting a giant mural of a geisha girl on the car. Obviously no one gives a **** about your opinions.

On topic, I like the rally stripes, I just don't have the patience to lay vinyl or paint that precise. I just did Grabd Sport stripes but that's cause doing two 20" stripes doesn't take a whole hell of a lot of patience. Haha
