In response to my email:

Subject: RE: Chevy Cobalt Body kit
Date: Wed, 13 Oct 2004 10:43:12 -0400

We are definitely making a Razzi Ground Effects kit for the '05 Chevy Cobalt. We have received an '05 Cobalt from Chevrolet and we have started the tooling (This information is as of October 1st). We will be showcasing and releasing the '05 Cobalt Ground Effects kit at this year's SEMA Automotive Show in Las Vegas from November 2nd thru November 5th. Product will be available for shipping the week after the show. This will be an excellent seller for Razzi.....the Cobalt is a really nice/appealing vehicle!
Thanks for your interest in our Razzi Products!

Can't wait to see it!

Sweet, nice to know there will already be a few companies providing Cobalt aftermarket support at SEMA before the car even hits the ground.

Razzi made a kit for the IONs, and I wasn't impressed at all. Actually the front clip was rather ugly. Don't expect much until you see it. This is to prepare you for either a good looking product or a bad one.

I've never heard of the company. Who's going to the show to take pictures??

Oh..and if we find a lack of tasteful kits once the SS comes out, I hear there's a website where you can submit your own bodykit design for them to make. You just have to have a certain amount of orders...and from what I remember, the price wasn't that bad at all. That's always an option.

The RK kit is going to be just a lip kit. The Razzi kit is a partial bumper replacement, meaning you cut off the lower part of your bumper to install. The front end will look similar to what the Cavalier or Aveo front bumpers look like. There will be plenty of pictures of both kits, as well as the one Gravana is working on, from SEMA next week. I'll be posting them on J-body.org and I'll post the Cobalt ones here too.

never liked the razzi kits, they don't tend to go with the flow of the car, but i can't say anything about this until i see it, as the cobalt doesn't have such "defined" lines anyway, so you can probobly get away with more agressive stylistic changes with it

Unfortunately I can't post any of the pics I have yet, since they are of unfinished cars, but there are a couple on Razzi's site that you can sort of see the car:

looks like thats a razzi kit on the motegi car, the nopi car looks like it is the razzi kit also by looking at the sides, razzi kinda needs to try a different front, bumper, the rear kicks ass if its the same as nopi car,

I don't like the Motegi car, that wing is huge!

The Nopi car looks great, the rear is nice with the dual exhaust cutout's and the sides look good too. I could do without the graphics though.

The rear and sides of the NOPI car look awesome. The front of that Motegi car needs help. The front opening looks too small. Needs something that flows better than that. What rims are those on the motegi car? I love them. I would want those for my ION sedan maybe. Anyone know?

I'm not a fan of chrome wheels (razzi pic) on a performance car..so that's one thing i don't like, another is that huge carbon-fiber can opener (wing) on the motegi car.

Things i do like : DUAL exhaust rear bumper is oh-so-sexy and the side skirts look nice too.
