Re Badging a 2.4.. Opinions

i was thinking of getting RS emblems or decals and placing them where the SS emblems are. something different. i know the RS package was an aperance package and not performance. but im just looking to do somthing differetn but staying with the classic GM theme. all opinions wanted

No! Leave the badges alone! These cars look stupid when they're bald in my opinion.

Try taping the RS emblem over the SS emblems and stand back to get an idea if you like them or not before you remove the SS emblems. It's not like you're going beyond a "point-of-no-return". Just purchase 3 SS emblems and throw them in a plastic bag and keep them in the glovebox -- for when you might sell the car -- surely having the correct emblems on it would help the resale value in lieu of the incorrect emblems.

this is the trunk now. im either leaving it alone or changinfg it to an RS emblem. i already moved the SS emblem to the right side cause i think it looks better there. and i got the 2.4 ecotec badge form 24designs.net

I should put ss badges on my car. Hell, if it was an 07, it would have em. They just changed it to sport for 2008. So what's the difference besides 2 months? I can always say it means sport sedan if people get pissy. Since that IS what SS originally meant. And it does make sense. The car is originally called "sport" so add another S and it's sedan. Hence SS.

The rear end looks sexy, but if it were mine, i'd lose the SS badge and put the ectoec badge in the center

In the old days it was sport sedan. Since most of the ss's back then were 4dr. Then It was changed to super sport.

How am I talking out of my ass? That's what I was told..... IF anything say that about the person who told me that! (not saying names) But I'm still doing it and I'm telling people on my car it stands for sport sedan cause I said so. And it would say SS anyway if my car was an 07 so I don't see the big deal in doing it. It's just a 2 month difference big deal.

Under that logic I should put a Z06 badge on my Cavalier and say it has 505 hp cause I said so.
