Rear turn signal configuration

So I’m wondering if it’s possible to change to the rear turn signals to the reverse lights, and then just put amber bulbs in. I have the led taillights and i hate how they blink so fast, and i carbon fiber trunk lid with the center tails tinted. So think how cool the reverse lights to blink as my turn signal!!

I've seen it done once, not sure how though. You do realize that all you have to do is wire resistors to stop the hyper flashing right?

to change the revese lights to a turn signal, you can just move the Power wire for the turn signal to the revese light power wire. also if you splice in the turn signal wire, it will also still let you use the revese lights

no, IIRC your brake and turn wires are seperate, you would have to splice those wires over too

Rear lights use the same wire for brake and turn signal. Each function is controlled by the computer not separate circuits. If you want separated turn signals in the rear you have to either reprogram the BCM or tap into the front signals and run extra wires all the way to the back. So no it's not that simple.

You could get switchbacks? That way on reverse it would be white, and on blinking it would be orange.

Some people have done this on their parking lights? Anyone think this would work?

Doing that would just give you amber signals in the reverse lights plus the red ones in the outer lights, both blinking at the same time. IMO you either fully separate the signals from the outer lights or don't do it at all.
