Rear View Mirror Question.

I have a the standard, non OnStar mirror, and I want to switch it out for one of the mirrors with the compass and temp on it. Is there a specific model that will work? I know there is a how to some where around here on how to hook it up.

Would this one work? Pontiac Grand Prix 2001-02 Rear View Mirror w/Onstar 015607 | eBay

Or could you link me one that would work?

I don't think that will work and our cars didn't come with the compass and temp on the rear view.. I thought of using the new Tahoe rear view but idk if it is possible

There's a how to on here to add one. It has the correct part numbers for everything. Just dig that old thread up and see if the mirrors are similar or different.

Awhhhh. I just looked and saw I have an 8 pin connector. Is there a way I could swap it over to the 16 pin type? Or is there a mirror with the 8 pin type connector?
