I am looking at turning my Cobalt into a show car. I have ideas but I would also like some opinions and other inputs as well. I want to build a car that is unique and one of a kind.

 

um custom paint job.... with debadging custom wheels...
customized interior totally unique im talkin replace it all!!!
clean your engine bay polish what can be polished or painted
custom fluid caps the whole 9 pretty much change the wire loom and tuck some wires...
make it a sexy lil beast and keep it clean

Show car =

Theres too much money into a show car and most of them look ridiculous

But here are my mods to a show car.

Wicked sick looking and huge bodykit

24" rims

Spray painted windows (Black) it gives it that nice tint look

Chrome everywhere

Diamond plated floormats

Sparco steering wheel

Atleast 3 or 4 w7's for subs in the trunk

Huge ass free ***** wing

you should be good after all those, that should bring you a 1st place finish

 

Yeah, I actually really hate show cars. Sure they all have lots of **** done to them and lots of money spent but in the end they look like a bum took a **** all over them.

 

Going to agree with you here...

 

You can make a clean show car. But you wont win.

If you make a SHOW SHOW car, you lose in real street driving looks.

So you choose.

 

paint or vinyl, whatever, sound system, headunit, gauges, color matched **** inside is nice, dressed up clean looking engine bay, nice stance, NICE rims

 

Some people just have no idea...

 

Its take the right mind and style...I have entered into shows and have won no less then 2nd..I have no custom paint or interior...Just many tasteful and well executed details.

Not saying you didn't put in a lot of hard work into your car. I respect that you did some different. It's just not my thing. We all have our opinions. Keep doing what you're doing if that's what you like.

 

Well I want to be go different. Eveyone has the old stuff on thier car so I would like to redefine whats Nice and what's badass.

What I had in mind was

*New seats
*Color theme (Black & red, White & black, etc)
*New rims
*Drop
*Custom Body Kit
*Targa Top Conversion

and etc...

After some time I would begin to start beasting up my motor. I would like looks and performance.

But I wanted peoples opinion and I appreciate everyones input.

I would like to see a targa top conversion, I think it would be very hard to do right and keep it functional though.

 

I know! I saw a pink one that just looked sick as hell! I am a little skeptic about finding someone that can pull it off right with no problems...

 

not the best idea, you will end up putting far too much money into that you will never get back. our car value already is down quite a bit.

my old car was a showcar and my new car is gonna be way different last car was a 94 chevy cavalier 2door full show full 6piece bodykit lambo doors 18" lowered full interior better brakes intake exhaust exhaust ignition underbody glow sound system cust metallic paint shaved trunk door lock antenna trunk lock etc...didnt have a wing wasnt ugly and got alot of wtf is that and wasted ALOT of money on it and only got two trophies waaay aint worth it

eh its ok dont really think its a "SHOW CAR" but his old wheels are ******* ugly tho
