Recovered my headliner (pics!)

Well i finally finished it.. It was a pain but it got done. I did it in black microsuede. Comments welcome! and a little fyi, the fabric is actually black, in these pics, i used the flash so it makes it look lighter.

i used vht gloss black vinyl dye. if you do a google search, youll find it.. i think i paid like 10 bucks for a big can.

i didnt need to remove the seatbelt bolts.. i just kinda bent the one side and it came out.. but i did it carefully lol. nothin broke or anything so it all worked out.

you need to remove the pillars to get the headiner out.. and if you have a rear domelight, that comes out also.. and then just the little things that screw into the headliner like the sunvisors and those 2 clothes hangers or whatever in the back.

hmm.. i would say altogether like 60 bucks at the most. i bought the fabric off of ebay. used 2 yards, you have to buy the spray adhesive and then the vht vinyl dye and a bottle of gorilla glue to glue the sun visors back together. and the vinly dye, you paint everything with it thats plastic. as far as a how goes, its honestly just lay the fabrice down, trim to size but leave some slack just i case... spray the headliner and then the underside of the fabric.. let the adhesive tack up for like a min and then just work i on there and smooth it out. as for the adhesive, i used 3m general adhesive.. got it from walmart. its in a big spray can.
