Does anyone here know how to remove the flat black Rear speaker inclosure that sits on top of the 6 x 9's?

 

Are those the ones where you snap off? or am I missing something?


Anyways, why do you want to know? What are you planning on doing, if I may ask?...

 

I was thinking of cutting out 6x9 ovals out so i could place some aftermarket speakers in the back so the speaker would show instead of being covered. Just an idea i was thinking of for a future project.

 

OOOooooh, okay. Cool. Im not much of a sound man, more of performance/appearance man myself.

 

i had the same idea, but i thought if people see there gonna want to jack me

 

......and maybe a little bit of weight reduction for the track also haha.

Eventually I plan on taking out the rear seats and replacing the driver and passanger seats with a set of Sparco figher race seats, a 5 point sparco harness and some Sparco harness bars and a race cage. So in short my whole interior will evenually be Sparco products haha......oh and sparco steering wheel.
