Lightbulb remove dash cover?..how?

alright im working on fiberglassing my dash (dash cover) and i took out all the screws along the windshield as well as under the trim above the gove box and behind the foglight switch/dimmer switch ..

but the problem seems to be the airbag. as you know it lives under tht flap. altho i have some what pryed the plastic cover over the airbag up. only till i seen the bag and i got scared and pushed it back. but pulling up the dash cover you can see it getting stuck in that area something holding it.. is the bag stuck to the cover itself? how do i remove the dash cover and or the airbag. if i remove the airbag will this cause any problems with sensors or warning lights? will it fail inspection?

how do i remoe the dash? how abotu the airbag? what do i need to know.

i searched but didtn find anything.

the entire dash cover is what youre doing? well if what im guessing is right, simply unplug the battery, (both terminals to be safe) turn the key on and the key will be locked into place, remember to put the e brake on just in case, now the electrical part that should go to the airbag should have no power (im assuming its somewhat electrical, or its just impact related) if its impacted related... don't drop it, but if its electrical removing the terminals should be fine

but don't stress it, i rolled my cobalt lt last fall, fish tailed, went over a round curb, flipped it and skidded on my hood in grass for quite some time, never triggered an airbag or anything... so ya

yea my buddy rolled his yellow G5 last year (all kinds of pics floating around) and air bags didnt pop. ..

yea thats really not my fear if its unpluged and the fuse is out well then its just a matter of not playing with it. my idea is to just leave it out. im thinking with will trip a sensor ,warning light? error code? annyoing beeping ? i dont want that. i want that space for a ps2 not an air bag..

and any one asking .. yes id rather have a ps2 hit my friends then an air bag.
