Remove Pen Striping

I was thinking about getting rid of the pen striping. Any suggestions ladies. I have goo gone and adhesive remover. Do i just heat it up and remove. Then clean it or what do I do?

Is goo gone safe on auto paint, if so I have a couple of things I would like to take off and that would help with getting glue off? If not and I don't remember what they cost, but 3M makes a really cool thing that works just like an eraser that is designed to take off stripes and glue from glue from certain car emblems and mouldings. It's round and made to fit into a drill and makes short work of getting rid stripes.
