Removed Protective Door Strips On LS
Removed Protective Door Strips On LS
Well it was a nice warm day here in WNY so I went for it. I just ripped them right off and then removed the remaining white glue stripe with my fingers and cleaned it up with goo gone. 30 minutes tops. I think it looks way better/ way cleaner without them. Like the SS doors. Feedback?
You can also see the little smoothlocks lock covers in the last pic.

I like the looks of it without, it does look a little more like the '06 SS (non-SC) and makes the body look a little cleaner. I'd considered taking mine off but I figure living in an apartment building with random people parking around me I'd be better off leaving them on for that added protection just in case.

Thanks for the feedback, I almost frogot to mention I ripped the rear bowtie off also. I had delayed this because I thought the space would be left to empty without but man was I ever wrong. The ass end looks great without that big gold piece of crap! Sorry if I ever doubted any of you on that one.
I AM RIPPED!!!
So i decided to take off my driver side door modeling when im noticing that it has sticky stuff raised up on the outline of the door modeling. I then go for it and take the front sticky crap off and relized that it wasnt the damn sticky sutff but freacking PAINT! . I guess when i brought my damn car in to get fixed that f***ing guy didnt take off the door modeling and painted aroung the f***ing things. So now I have an indent of where the DAMN modeling used to be instead of that clean look which was the whole F'n point of this. Sorry for the blanked out words but i am flamming. ( not the gay way). So does anybody here have any suggustions on how to get rid of the indent look? or isit permenent since it was all repainted around that and not those spots.
PLEASE HELP ME.
Edit: not modeling but you get the picture. im too mad to type or fix my grammer.
