Removing dome lights in rearview mirror?

So tonight I was going to replace the bulbs in the rearview mirror with white LED's. I took the mirror out of the car and when I went to pull the bulbs out.....they don't budge. Fail.

At all.

Now it's kinda hard to grasp them cause they're little and there isn't much space available for my man fingers to fit in there to pull.

Just seeing if anyone had any tips? Obviously I can't use pliers bc glass is fragile. (duh) . My fingers just keep slipping off.

BTW, while doing this all I am singing in my head is Pearl Jam- Review mirror. hehe

Stick some double sided tape to the tips of the pliers, press them onto the bulb, then pull hard.

The covers are just held in by tabs, pull a little and they come off.

cheese and rice I finally got them. Went the plier route. Get a tiny screw driver and just pry each little tab. There's three. Just be careful when you're doing it they delicate

I have some of superbrightleds.com's 5 SMD white LEDs in my maplights and love it. The car just feels more upper class with them in there.
