Removing Inside Door Handles..??

How do you do it?

And what is the best way to remove the rest of the silver paint on them (especially inside the button area)?

I have the stupid paint chipping problem, and I want to repaint them. I figure you just pull on the tab inside and there's a screw or something holding it in, but I didn't ant to break anything. lol

Thanks!

exactly like you said... take out that piece, and there's a screw. then just pull it out, but be careful not to pull too hard because of the wires. disconnect the harness, tape it off, sand and paint.

Cool man. So just use a high-grit paper? For the inside by the switches too? Should you use plastic paint, or will anything be fine?

plastic paint is fine. you don't want to use too high of a grit sandpaper, look for the one that is used before paint. you can get everything you need to do it properly for about 5 dollars.
