Removing interior SS badge

In the process of painting my trim, and I need to remove that SS badge from the passenger side trim piece.

Anyone have any ideas how? I'll be reinstalling it later. Should I just rip it off and glue it back (not a good idea but yeah...)?

Yea try following the debadging tutorial:

Then check stores for double sided auto tape.

Where some type of gloves or tape your fingers too. If you saw the fishing wire through the tape, it will likely slice your finger too... from expierence.
