Painted my car - 7/26 cars together

finally putting paint on my car, its been through so many different looks. its currently flat white with evo mod and white enkeis, heres a pic of the engine bay for the color its gonna be.

its a custom color I mixed up, black with a cup and a half of lilac pearl. its blue at some angles, black when the lights not hitting it directly, and has a ton of red blue and purple flake in it. wheels will be black, headlights will be color matched and I'm playing with different ideas for my interior and piping.

Its clear the car was painted with the motor in or the bay wasent completel painted.... not a fan of that at all. I just don't get why people do it. i personally refuse jobs where people want that done.

its my only car, Im not gonna pull the motor out of it just to paint the bay, once complete you'll never be able to tell it wasn't pulled.

Nice color, did you remove the windshield and back windows (otherwise your stock color will be hiding there)

no i didnt take out the windows, if you go to a body shop and have them repaint your car they dont do all that so why bother.

heres some updates, going on vacation this week so shes in the garage and im gonna finish her up when I get back. the red that is left will be painted when i get back, just didnt wanna use $300 per gallon paint on parts you'll never see.

still have to paint the hood, mirrors, trunk, wheels, and headlights. then wetsand and buff and she'll be cherry.

Love that color man, and I don't blame you for not dropping an extra $300 bucks on paint, especially if it isn't a show car.

Can't wait until my car is paid off so I can repaint it. Going to be doing a lot in the next 3 years. Gonna do a 2.4 turbo build and repaint it either grabber blue or arrival blue. Love both colors.

car looks good... u missed the firewall.... you went through allt he trouble to do a nice job yet you didnt shoot the firewall...

my 2 cents it you should of just shot the bay black and been done rather then doing part engine color and part black.
