Reverse Evo Mod and Eyelids Done
Reverse Evo Mod and Eyelids Done
Well, 1CleanG5 and I bit the bullet tonight and did the Reverse Evo Mod. Got a bit dark when we were done so the completed pic isn't so great and i can't put the grills in yet. Will post better ones tomorrow.

Here are the Eyelids we did yesterday. Ended up running the pinstripe all around the car like some come from the factory.

Also had some extra pin-striping left and got a bit artsy on the wall of our living room.

Next up: Front Evo Mod, Tinted Tails, Tinted Side Markers.

Over spray was the thing i was most worried about with rattle-bombing it. To my surprise, didn't have a single problem with it. The tape raised the slightest but in the bottom left where it curves out, but nothing that i can't fix tomorrow.
Here is what the eyelids looked like originally. Continuing the pin-stripe was kind of a spur of the moment thing just to see how it looked. Ended up liking it so it's staying for now.

hate eyelids that follow body lines on cobalts. they look awful. Car literally looks like its stoned. Looks like if u asked it a question it would reply with ".....uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........(extremely long pause).........what?" But i mean A for effort and if u like it roll with it. Maybe u smoke a ton of weed and u roll around high in ur car and u feel like ur 1 with ur car now who knows none of my business. Rear lip looks good. Emblem looks good too but suprised u painted it on the car.

I'm glad to get opinions on it all though. Thanks for being honest.
you should of just debadged the trunk but thats just what i did. i like the reverse evo mod and u did paint the girls with the gloss black right because it would look right if u didnt.
Eyelids are hit or miss. Some people like them, some people don't. As far as the emblem, i did not plan on painting it on the car, but i had to cover the rear end for the lip anyways and i was able to slide paper/tape behind the emblem all the way around it. That was a lot easier than heating it up, prying it off, painting it, and getting it back on.

yea man u paint vinyl just like u paint plastic. Scuff, adhesion promote and spray. it gave me the look i wanted, the UV protection clear offers on the vinyl so it wont break down, and it was still temporary so i could peel it off
