I am considering changing my reverse lights from white to blue.

Does anybody know the bulb number on those lights?

It is on ebay under cobalt ss overlay its like 10 bucks for all 3, they look good.would look really good on your car

and its just reverse lights bra

 

cops in my area are bad enough i dont need another reason for them to pull me over. but if it were allowed that would be a totally different story

i do lol. cops are just to picky with it. and you cant do it our your wont pass the state inspection

 

florida dont have no inspections! of course, he lives in wext virginia, so florida is completely irrelevant.

 

consider yourself lucky we pay 26 bucks to get ours cars inspected by the state

 

If anything you should go with a hyper white bulb which has a bluish look to it or a brighter xenon bulb, you wont see sh** with a blue bulb when you back up

 

Where in va you at. I have changed every exterior bulb. I have the flashing led brake lights and the front parking light/turn signal change from white to amber when the turn signal is on. I had to swap them out to pass inspection but have never been pulled over them. They have been in for over a year.

To the original poster. Just change them to an led. That should give you what you are looking for.

 

People got on me too when I told them about mine. I was like "Do you drive around in reverse? No." They're really cool looking, but they're not as bright as you're used to. Mine are LED's. Here's a pic ( still had my LED brake lights in then too)...

It does look real good in person. In parking lots though I always get the WTF stare from people. haha
